I'm not mad at you, I just find you repulsive. When you show up and post this "Definitely now, but maybe not in the beginning" That's not bring anything new here. You're pretending that you know me, which you don't...What if you meant "Handed out for participating in PvP, but I don't wanna be clear on where the use of said stat points will be allowed.", don't get mad at me 'cause you can't be completely clear on what you meant for my ignoramus-self.
I'm not sayin' that we shouldn't have PvP rewards, but maybe stat points are stupid.
No, this would be bad for Frontlines,
In Frontlines, yes getting kills gets points. But the value of a kill is outweighed by capturing a flag or node versus the time it takes to do either one (assuming no interference from an outside player in each of the three cases). By making the number of kills a competitive thing, I feel it would take players from certain necessary objectives in order to be ranked on a leaderboard. A player with no kills may have just as much, if not a greater contribution to the team as someone with 5, maybe even 10 plus kills from capturing flags, drones, or the node.
This would only be viable for the Wolves' Den. Even then, the kill goes towards the player who makes the final blow which sucks. I can do 99% of the damage but if I don't get the last hit, it's not my kill. So, I could just camp and wait for my team mates to DPS someone down then I can blow all my CDs to get the kill.
I think who gets the kill should be determined to be the person who has done the most damage since that is how the drones/nodes work but for the GC's contribution. Also, not sure if someone jumping from the heli means no kill count but it should work there too.
