Party Chat function disabling in certain instances

Last night, I was trying for some Ramuh EX farming and noticed that no one was saying anything about anyone's mistakes, so I started offering advice. No one responded and the problems weren't fixed, and no macros were going on. So i figured the group was ignoring me and on team speak or something and left. Later, in SCoB T1, I ran into the problem again. No one would respond to my chat, but I saw someone say something in /s before they kicked me out of party for what I can only assume is for not talking to them. One more SCoB T1 attempt later and I figured out that for some reason, the party couldn't read my typing in party chat and I couldn't read theirs, either. Not even my macros were showing up for them. It only seemed to happen in those two instances, so far. I tried an Under the Armor and it worked fine in their, then I did a Shiva EX and it also worked fine. I thought it might have been a PS4 issue only, but when I posted about it on the Reddit forum, I had 3 other people post back saying that they had similar issues on PC. Is this a known issue? I couldn't find anything pertaining to it where I've looked so far. This is my first post here, so sorry if it's not formatted correctly >.<

Happened to me in a Qarn (HM) dungeon as well as a T8 group -- the most annoying part really is that you see your own chat, but no error message, so on your side nothing looks broken. /say does work as /fc chat though.

Can confirm this happened to me in Snowcloak this morning as well. My partner and I play in the same room. I couldn't see anything he wrote in party chat, nor could he see anything I wrote.
