can't get rank 38 main quest as rank 38

Hello everyone,

I am a rank 38 pugilist and i didn't recieve the pearl update yet, anybody know why?

Are there other things i need sorted out, like stats or something. I also noticed that i recieved my rank 34 quest as a rank 36. Pugilist isn't the class i started out with from the beginning. Maybe that's the reason? Is the beginning class the one that gets the quests earlier?

the pearl doesn't always light up straight away for the quest for whatever reason, however if you go to the quest location you should still be able to start it.

When I hit 38 I wasn't even trying to start the quest (I was doing some GLD leves around ul'dah); it almost seemed to start randomly for me when I was on my way to see Roarich.

Yes, like the others said. Happened to be also with the rank 30 mission. The pearl did not light up so I thought I might be mistaken about there being a mission at rank 30, but when I went to the MW I saw there was the option for the Merchant Wards.

R38 starts a little different to the others. It begins with an instance in the Gold Court, heart of Ul'dah. You have no need to visit the waking sands first.
