Yeah, getting 100% without BB is just a way of saying "I had a really really lucky run".
Offhands atm should in theory use the 15 craft, 3 CP formula as a given but you need all the left side artisan as well as supra to make the control req as well as supra.
However if you have not fully melded it yet, I would advise those to wait till 2.5 on adding Control vs adding that last Craftmanship (for the 454 req to use 1PBP, 2 RS, 2 CSII).
If they add a chest piece we will get enough craft to use 1PBP, 2 RS, 2CSII thus making control the better meld.
If we don't get it then, craft would be the better meld.
Some nice rotations are possible with that 3 CP added in mainly for 3 Star / 4 Star
Assuming they don't add any recipes that have higher base stats.

Well the new artisan body piece is out how has it affected people melds?
Now Craftsmanship is easier to hit..
And at the same time, there are now rotations that can use higher craftsmanship. For the new tokens, I'm liking my 517 Craftsmanship (between the new top and Shark Fin Soup) since I can use just RS+CSII for the progress with no Ing or Ing2. I'm not sure I'd have enough with no craftsmanship on my offhand (which has +17 craftsmanship for that class). I'm thinking though that there's no longer a reason to overmeld with IV materia on the offhand, especially if you did it for the chest to get my preferred +18 crafts, +4 control, +3 CP.

I need to decide the rest of my off hands now:

The control 4 is the question mark?

I melded my off hand +16/ +3/ +3, Chest +18/ +4/ +3.
I'd just hit 453 craft and melded rest with control/cp.
