Dyes on glamours applying to base item.

I was responding to a certain thread related to glamours and remembered that when I equip Arcanist, since it can't wear the Summoner attire glamour I have over the current gear it shows the base gear, but dyed with the Summoner attire colors. Is this intended or should I report it?

Happened when I had WAR Augmented Body/Hands glamour'd over my Noct stuff. Noct stuff got dyed the color I dyed the WAR stuff. Think it's intended.

In my cases, I did it a couple of times so I could cross class Flash and run around spamming it and laughing maniacally while Topaz carby on Sic mode took over the enmity and killed everything I pulled. Also got more credit at an S rank solo ACN -> DOT's + Flash spam for 10 secs than I did maximizing my DPS at another as a solo SMN when I was there from beginning to end.
