That helps FCs as ours, that dedicated so much time and effort to get the house, being able to ask the new members to give a little contribute to our chest before get house access rights. Who wants join us just to leech the perks and give nothing in exchange, will just not be able to get housing access.

It's just ACCESS. The perks are, what, a summoning bell and crafting bonus to use while leveling (if you have the tables)? :/ Restrict nifty decorating privileges, then.

Umh, that sounds horrible tbh. I wouldn't mind to give something if asked. But being forced to? Leaves a bitter aftertaste....no thanks.

I'm kinda in agreement with this. :/ Even when we were scrambling to get the house we wanted, I never went beyond only encouraging everyone to donate. And yeah, some folks gave WAY more than others. Some gave nothing. But everyone has at least given some of their time to the FC and that's plenty. ^^



The ONLY problem I can see stemming from taking away access restriction is ending up with someone who gets a room and then proceeds to troll the FC. IIRC, you can't kick someone with a room. But there have been enough stories of members earning the trust of the FC and THEN betraying it that I doubt housing access would affect this in any way. ><
