My point was that part of aoe on ninja was doton and (cant remember name at the moment) fireball which neither would now get the 20% damage increase. To make up for that huge loss I was asking if death blossom (which remains unchanged) could get a slight potency increase

lol wut?Positioning is mostly in the players hands, there are times or instances where it might not always be but it majority of the time is. Mudras are usually in the players hands, however, missing/Flubbing a mudra cast is more costly than missing your positional on drg (though most of the time this happens it isn't the drgs fault),
(I agree just didnt like the bolded parts all to much when put together.)
This is interely not true, any Monk worth his salt will blow a Ninja out of the water. As a player who has a MNK/NIN i support the nerfs. It's way too easy to deal top damage as a NIN on the same fight where a MNK is working his hardest to push his own numbers. NIN achieves almost the same DPS as a MNK however its effortless (no positionals, no loosing GL, no tp issues).
A Badly played NIN can stay on the Heals of the Best MNKs. Thats the part i have a problem with.
An important thing to remember is that these nerfs will surely be minor which i think is fair. Whats not fair is that MNKs have to work so hard to stay at the top of the charts when NINs just coasts their way to the #2 spot without even trying.
The "Best" Monks you're talking about are probably not as good as you think.
Many people like to talk about positioning, I've dealth with it since 2.0 and don't see a problem with it, you start doing it automaticaly, hell I even do that as Ninja every now and then just because it's in my muscle memory.
Again, the nerfs are not necessary.
It's not gamebreaking but they should focus on other things instead of the nerf screamers in the forums. Some people will always want their own class constantly buffed while having competition nerfed.
They should've just buffed dragoons and be done with it.
About the argument which class is actually harder to play it's all a matter of opinion.
I have played monk to the point it bores me, I can play it with a Blindfold might aswell call me Lee Sin.
Ninja is fresh and imo requires way more attention, sure doing dungeons with Ninja is way more efficient than with monk so I can see how some people might see it as too strong but I'm strictly thinking about raids, if it's about dungeons might aswell go all BLM DPS.
But this is just my opinion.
