Transferring to PS4

Hello, I just had a quick question.

I looked up how to do the transfer of the client and character data, but how it's worded makes me think that I should log into the PS3 version first and upload my character data; then go to the Mog Station to do the client transfer to PS4.

So, is this correct? Am I missing anything else that needs to be done?

Edit: Well, alrighty then. Was just hoping to get a confirmation, but I guess I will just assume that's how it goes. :|
