    Slot Cost

    Should SE remove Slot Cost for our accessories all together or should they give us quests to up the amount we can have? What are some of your thoughts on this? And before anyone says they need to fix the game first before all this crazy stuff.... I'm clearly asking your thoughts on the topic not what is wrong with the game as a whole.

    I do not understand the purpose of slot cost. It reminds me of weight encumbrance from D&D. It seems like a system designed to restrict how much stuff you can equip. I just don't understand why the restriction is necessary. Is wearing wristlets, rings, a headband and a necklace so overpowering that it unbalances the game??

    I don't get it either I would much prefer no restriction at all. I really do not see the point in it.

    Currently, I cannot see how the limited selection of items for the ring/neck/wrist slot could unbalance the game. You get more bumps to stats from your main armor pieces.

    However, to continue the D&D analogy that you brought up, the slots could be unbalancing if they wanted to include jewelery with special bonuses or abilities (say a Ring of Haste, or bracelets that give a strong elemental resistance, or a necklace that give the user a low-power regeneration). Boosting jewelery like this would allow people to customize their characters a bit more for specific situations without requiring the player to give up their character's wardrobe appearance.

    I think it's because the more equipment slots you can fill, the harder it is to balance equipment.

    Personally, I'd just do away with it. It seems redundant, and a couple more pieces don't seem that much of a disaster, balance wise.

    Most mobs need a RADICAL rebalancing of their level of challenge anyway, so since they basically need to rebalance everything, they can just do away with obsolete limits.

    Let us do quests to get more slots.

    Or.

    If they want to encourage more horizontal leveling, they could have each class have a quest at rank 20 that lets them get another accessory point.
