    just some simple questions ^_^

Hello, I was gonna wait till I had 3 questions but I couldnt wait ^_^

    okay easiest question !

I figured out what slow does...so what does heavy do? its a new effect I'm not too familiar with...

    and the complex question!

additional skills...I know that classes can use them...but can jobs? I thought that jobs couldnt equip them...but I've been reading posts in the forums and for some reason (can't remember what has made me think this...) it seems like jobs can use the skills from other classes?

Idk, any answers are appreciated ^_^ thank you

Heavy pretty much slows down your physical movement speed. Especially pesky when you get slapped with it right before an AoE and cannot escape in time.

Cross Class skills for classes work slightly different than they do for jobs. Classes can equip any cross-class'able skill from any other class. At max level (50), they can equip 10 of them. Even if they make no sense - like a Mage with Provoke. Jobs get clipped to only having 5 slots for cross class skills, and they can only pull cross-class'able skills from two very specific classes depending on what their job is.

Example: Pugilist can pull skills from any other class. Monks can only pull skills from Marauder and Lancer. Arcanist can pull any they like, but Summoners can only pull from Archers and Thaumaturges. etc etc.

Heavy slows down movement speed. So you (or the enemy) runs much more slowly. Handy to inflict if you're a ranged attacker of some sort, a pain to have inflicted if you're out of range or need to avoid AOEs.

Each job has two classes from which it can take cross class skills, one of which is the secondary class required to unlock that job. For example, Monks can take cross class skills from Marauder and Lancer. Jobs also don't get as many cross class slots; one for every ten levels (i.e. 3 at 30, 4 at 40, 5 at 50) instead of every five levels.

Just take a little run through Sapsa spawning grounds or Zanr'ak. You'll soon discover what the heavy effect does.... o.0

Zanr'ak isn't too bad. I can usually make it from one end to the other without aggro (except from those darn Fortunetellers).

Sapsa though... screw Sapsa. They make it impossible to go five feet without getting a heavy backhand.

It confuses a lot of newer players, don't worry!

Note that for the most part, the ability to 'cross class' skills becoming restricted isn't actually that bad. For the most part the Job selections of available skills are plenty and cover most of the things you'd want to take anyway, and it's almost (almost) never worth losing out on the job skills for the one or two useful ones you do lose.

Taking advantage of the topic subject, I have one noob question, because i only played the beta and now I'm playing for "real":

I lvl up untill 11 the Marauder class, because I wanted that for "secondary". I want my main to be Ninja, yes! xD

So, that said and done, my Rogue is lvl 8. Can I continue with the side quests/story quests that i was doing (except the story of the Marauder, of course!)?

Yes. You won't be able to turn in any quests that are higher than level 8 as your Rogue, though. So if you've got any level 9-11 quests lingering around, you'll have to catch up before you can turn them in (or turn them in on MRD).
