Request: please allow UI scaling to affect chat box

I don't often post request threads for SE to change things, but I figured I might try here, since it is something that affects me dearly.

I use remote desktop a lot to play the game. It allows me to play at work, and that means 9 extra hours a day of game time. My main problem is, in order to create a relatively lag free experience with remote desktop, I have to play the game in 640x480, no effects, minimal graphics. While the effects and graphics do not matter to me (im a crafter and gatherer) my main issue is the chat log. When I scale down my UI to 60% (so it all fits on the smaller screen) the chat box doesn't scale with it. I know I can reduce the size of the actual chat, but the grey bar underneath with the tabs cannot be resized. It fills my entire bottom of the screen, and I cannot see my action bars as a result.

TL;DR please allow chat box/bar to be resized as part of UI scaling. It helps people with smaller screens. Thank you.

You can sort of already scale the Chatbox size . In the log settings "Chat Prompt Size" reduce the text size for it to a smaller size, even though I think the lowest it will go is 12pt.

I would love to be able to make the chat box smaller, so I can fit more into the screen.

Yes, exactly this.

Also, I would like to see a "minimum" setting for the presets, below standard. the lower the quality can go, the better my game plays, so this would be extremely helpful.
