Botanist guild mark rewards from leves are less than for the other DoL classes

I've been playing for a few months now and while I do a majority of my guildleves in Gridania, I have noticed these effects in Uldah and Limsa Lominsa as well. The fact is the guild mark rewards for botanist are significantly less than for miner or fisher. As an example r20 botanist leves from Gridania will give about 500 - 700 marks while a r20 leve for miner will give 900 - 1200 marks.
