Same, getting 1014 error. Also on Siren.
Got a 2002 myself when trying to log in a few minutes ago. Figured I'd wait a bit before trying again since the only time I've seen that is after ppl have been 90k'ed. xD

Yes, the Aether Data center/base has been getting hit the hardest to these DDoS attacks.. SE has gotten lazy in trying to mitigate the problem by allowing more & more of these attacks to happen causing login problems, 90k fest, Lag fest, etc. Its time for SE to move to (PLAN B) to fix this issue a month of this crap shows poor service and is continuing to damage its player base.
2002 and 1014 here

Are you sure it is indeed your data center IP having problems? I'm seeing issues coming through Atlanta and Chicago before I even get into Canada, much less Ormuco or SE's servers. Once I get past Albany, NY it's pretty solid, and even when it's bad Cogent is staying under 130 or so for the most part (TATA was much better, but this is who TWC has me using at the moment). I haven't had a 90k event in months that wasn't triggered by something locally (TWC has bounced my modem a few times for reconfig, had one widescale outage during the screwy weather, and last week my kitten squatted on my laptop and actually managed to put it to sleep while I was in Sastasha Hard.... thankfully the group waited for me to return).
Oh, and I'm also on Aether. Would be interesting to see if you are using the same IP as me when you are siting at Character Select screen. It's been hitting .74 for as long as I can remember.
My ping to Sargatanas is between 65-75 ms & if I ping the NA Lobby I get 170-180 ms on average. If you know how I can get TWC switch me to TATA or whoever they suggest. Even how to get idiot techs to pass me to a specialist because I have been on the phone with them over 10 times in the past month and numerous forum post on TWC getting dumb responses from those techs. Any Ideas? Are you sure it is indeed your data center IP having problems? I'm seeing issues coming through Atlanta and Chicago before I even get into Canada, much less Ormuco or SE's servers. Got disconnected very recently while in Crystal Tower. 90k followed by a 2002. I wasn't the only one who disconnected during that time.
Behemoth world server.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
Seriously doubt it was anyone's data center IP. Our entire FC was booted last night and received the same error message... "Cannot retrieve world data". We are on Siren and have members from all over the USA, Canada, and some in EU.
