I am all for adding more companions. With all of the mounts/minions we have in this game, can we get at least one mount/minion every update that we can do a quest for to make it a companion. I would love to have my Ahriman as a companion. It would also make me care about the mounts/minions. Would make them more valuable.
Also I started a thread about an hour ago about glamour type materia. that would be awesome.
Some things I'd like to see:
- Reimplementation of Hamlet Defense
- Chocobo Digging aka Hot and Cold
- Simplification of the glamour system (get rid of the need for catalyst)
- Ruby Carbuncle as newest Summoner pet
- More Furnishings and larger object allowance both in and outdoors
- Incentives for players to use the interior for houses (high level crafting tables? Indoor Market boards? Mini games?)
- FFXI wyvern to become a Beastmaster pet
- Make all existing hair styles and any upcoming new hairstyles be available for all races. No one race at a time exclusivity
- More traditional fantasy based gear and barding. Princess and knightly looking things
Thanks Kio. I agree, more furnishing is required, yesterday I was checking some furniture and then it hit me, with the furniture available, is there a way to view them, the way how it looks like and how big it is before I decide to craft or purchase. Perhaps a mini screen or a demo reflection can be nice to "try on" furniture.
I want to thank you all for the great ideas. Remember your word can make a difference. Here's an excellent thread posted recently by FluffyM: Some suggestions, mostly quality of life, obvious things : http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...obvious-things
Keep it burning!
I want strip clubs and the ability to rent hookers.
It didn't really put them on your ignore list so much as "mute" them for the duration you were logged onto that specific character. Still, it's a nice method and would be a vast quality of life improvement for this game. The amount of RMT spam, and how long it appears to us consumers it takes the task force to investigate and take action, is a big turn-off for new players.
I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
Perhaps you are right. I didn't remember every spam message I got. I do recall that supposedly there was a script in the code that made it so that if 10 people reported you that your account was given a 24hr suspension. Don't know if this was actually true or not, but it would be a nice function to hinder persons like this.It didn't really put them on your ignore list so much as "mute" them for the duration you were logged onto that specific character. Music
- Allow music type preferences (among Mounted, Background, & Combat)
- Options for smoother transitions
Blacklist
- Put people auto-blacklisted when reported for spamming in a slightly separate area of the blacklist.
- Able to un-blacklist a click-drag window's worth of people at the same time.
- (Or) Remove characters from blacklist automatically when they are deleted or change servers.
Inventory
- Auto-loot programming (pick up this and not this), custom categories (including layered/embedded or shared content categories), and Loot List (allowing you to quickly add recently looted items to your bags or discard them before they enter).
UI
- More subtle and traditional UI choices.
- Side menus (mouse to/by screen edge to pop up).
- A UI choice near 'UI off' but with buffs, stats, and the like still shown. Party list may be partly hidden, becoming less transparent on any 'event' (which can be adjusted, anywhere from casting or becoming a target, to taking damage to being debuffed or causing a debuff). Health/Mana/TP stats may be hidden in proportion to their height (low health = more opaque) and rate of change. Smaller size and dynamic transparency available for floating combat text. Action bars may be made to be (any level of) transparent with optional exceptions such ability procs, combos, and CDs ready / nearly ready, etc. Buffs can similarly be programmed to deepen opacity at start and end, etc. Party chat appears only for the newest exchanges (may be placed within bubbles for background contrast), fading quickly. Bubbles may be positioned around edges closer to the speaker's position when in party together and nearby; otherwise they will be in the normal chat position only (may vary that for region or chat type, too, actually...). Intensity of incoming ground AoE indicators may be adjusted.
- Can save multiple UI and keybind settings for quick swapping, together or separately.
- Make /lockon a keybind option, instead of having to use macros.
- Optional custom party/player symbols on minimap.
Other
- (~) NPC Linkpearls with free use, to retainers and informants primarily. Can use this to check in on certain market prices, etc., from afar. (Idc too much about this one.)
- Add a Social-Planner tab, with filterable auto-additions from friends (who have invited you), LSs and FC. App-alterable.
