Max level leves with ability to pick 4 8 and 24 person leves awards on par with hunts, with cooldowns on them to prevent spam farming.

GC quests for FCs as an alternative way to earn company creds and maybe other bits for the FC like buffs etc. Even things like run 50 dungeons, particapte in 40 frontlines etc each person participating in FC counts as 1 to the total.

Instanced battlefields which have numerous objectives that a random amount are added to the instance to complete it. eg set up a forward base, destroy a scouting party, defend a base, secure a supply route. instance and rewards scale to 4, 8, 16 or 24 people. Instance on par size wise as a present zone. Could be used as battles with Dravanians with the xpac and future ones fighting the Garleans. The random objectives could also be added to a frontlines style, eg 1 GC has to capture a base, another has to defend it, and the third has to destroy it. For pve maybe a difficulty slider also? From dungeon difficulty upto fight for your life hardcore raid level.

An FFXII event with Balthier and Fran as Sky pirates in Heavensward looking for nethicite. This will coincide with the gunner class that will be released with 3.0 and the theme of taking to the skies. Upon interacting with the duo you realize that they are not actually looking for nethicite but rather, a lost civilization that housed Ultima the High Seraph. You will then have to fight her dealing with all the mechanics you faced in FFXII including Reverse and Holyja among the few.

You will also get their clothes and FFXII themed weapons for each class/job. For the Extreme version of the fight Ultima will use Eschaton twice (the cutscene is included and picture your party in place of the morbol) with the first dealing high raid damage and the second one acting as her enrage. You can look on youtube as to how this fight plays out and all I can say is that it will be hell for healers and tanks.

I only want one thing: World events.

No, not those worthless Fates. I mean events which have a global impact. After all, we're supposed to be at war with the Garlean Empire yet aside from a handful of FATE skirmishes we never see hide nor hair of them outside their bases. There could be big battle events around the map and victory would win you territory while losing would give up ground to the Garleans. Fights could be scaled to the zone to encourage maximum participation.

Losing your home turf (for example, the Black Shroud) could result in Garlean skirmishes spilling into the streets of Gridania so you can mount a defensive.

Right now the world is too static. We need more dynamo!
