FC hunt and can't post on other forums

    Hi everyone

I wanted to post on the Phoenix server forum but it won't let me so here goes here:

I would like to find a small, friendly and casual FC. It would be great if they had 'older' members as I'm older myself (I'm a grandma). Best scenario would be newbie friendly, helpful, relaxed and cosy family atmosphere. I would prefer not to use voice comms.

I have never played healer before and would hope to find helpful people willing to help me learn how to play the role well.

Hope that isn't too big a wish list? Felt almost like writing a christmas present list for santa lol.

    Thanks for reading

    Hello Leyra.

Sadly what level your character in game is determines how often you can post on the forum and where - until you reach around level 25-30 the only place you can really post is here in New Player Help sadly. This thread shows the current posting restrictions in place and what level your character has to be in order to make posts on certain parts of the site.

I'm sure there will be lots of FCs and lses on Phoenix who would love to recruit you - just watch this space and you will be bound to have people give you invitations.

As for healing, it's something that comes with experience, but early on the best things CNJ needs to learn are managing 'hate' while keeping everyone alive, especially the tank! One mistake a lot of CNJs early on make is to go into a dungeon with Cleric Stance switched on - this can be a very bad thing to do, as it lowers your 'Mind' stat which controls healing potency, meaning your cure spells will be not healing nearly as much as they should. So it's something to remember.

But really, healing is pretty straightforward early on as it's more just common sense (keep the tank alive as a priority over the rest of the party, keep Protect up, use Stoneskin on the tank when you acquire it (it can be helpful to put it on everyone else but the tank is the main thing) and use Esuna to remove any negative statuses that enemies may use. It can be really full on at times but it also can be so fulfilling to help your party through a difficult dungeon or battle and come out on top.

^_^ Hello! Are you still looking for an FC on Phoenix? If so, Kefka is...well we're small, friendly, and casual *chuckle*

I won't say our members are older, but there are certainly no children in there. And...as the leader of the guild, I actually do help my members. I can help regardless of what you need, though tanking is my passion <3 Give me a holler next time you're in game.
