People need to stop voicing their opinion since they are unhappy? So only positive feedback threads are allowed and okay?

Nothing wrong with voicing opinions. Heck, it's pretty much encouraged to give feedback so that the developers have something to work with. It's just the way people are voicing out their opinions is what is not okay. They shouldn't be antagonizing the company, rather, they should be explaining and discussing their opinions and at the same time provide suggestions and actual feedback of what they think should be done to improve the situation without the insults. At least, this is from what I have read through so far. Too much "Mrgrgr" and "Unacceptable!" from both sides.
My only beef with "feedback" about CS issue are all the threads that keep getting hijacked, and derailed for it.
So what you are saying is since it doesn't effect you it's not a big deal, right? Wrong because SE is testing the waters here. Hypothetically speaking let's assume Slepnir and Odin minions aren't in game. Now let's assume SE just announced Odin HM with new i120 weapons and you can buy Odin EX version from the cash shop that includes Slepnir and Odin minion. It's the same concept because it's just "fluff" items but now it actually effects the majority instead of minority. Content is content whether it's PvE, PvP, or Sandbox. It's getting old. If you enjoy purchasing optional minions, mounts, etc. from the Cash Shop that's awesome. Thanks for being willing to contribute more money to help with the development costs of the game and future content!
Don't like the Cash Shop? Get over it. It's here to stay. Personally, I could care less and will continue to pay my 9.99 USD for my subfee and unless something truly awesome is added to the CS, I won't be making any purchases there as I couldn't care less about having additional minions, or an overpriced mount, or any other CS items that I would have to pay additional to obtain.
If it's purely cosmetic and has no impact on player performance or stats, I don't really see the problem.
Heck, I don't think people would have a problem with wedding if they kept it to free-only with no mounts and the default outfits... None would be the wiser. As if having a draught chocobo would give person A an advantage over person B.
I'm genuinely curious, I got a bahamut minion from purchasing the OST and I don't think it is attainable in the game without purchasing the OST, is the minion then considered a form of micro transaction? since it is content not available to everyone and if so, why don't I see mobs denouncing the act of bundling minions and in game vanity with merchandise?
So, are people genuinely against content (vanity) that are unattainable in game or are they simply hating the term micro transactions?

You aren't paying for the minion though, you are paying for a physical item and the minion is thrown in as a bonus, an incentive for you to buy the OST. Heck, the basic fact that the Windup Dalamud code expired on the end of the year that the OST was released shows that. If SE was "selling" the Dalamud minion, they'd leave the code to be active forever.I'm genuinely curious, I got a bahamut minion from purchasing the OST and I don't think it is attainable in the game without purchasing the OST, is the minion then considered a form of micro transaction? since it is content not available to everyone and if so, why don't I see mobs denouncing the act of bundling minions and in game vanity with merchandise?

Because it's a bonus item. You didn't pay money to buy that minion, you bought the OST and it was a bonus item that came with your purchase of that OST. Unless you seriously just dolled out money for the minion and use the OST as a coaster now..... (which would be dumb) then you didn't pay money for that minion. It was included as an extra item with your real purchase.I'm genuinely curious, I got a bahamut minion from purchasing the OST and I don't think it is attainable in the game without purchasing the OST, is the minion then considered a form of micro transaction? since it is content not available to everyone and if so, why don't I see mobs denouncing the act of bundling minions and in game vanity with merchandise?

That's different. Now, if you had to pay money just to get that minion by itself, with no OST included, then yeah.. that would be a micro-transaction the same as the current minions they have in their cash shop.
The example I gave is what my beef is, hiding half the content behind a paywall. It's a slippery slop and begs the question what my sub actually entitles me to and what addition fees I should pay for? Veterans Reward are a fine example because the beginning they gave all kind of cool stuff but now it's going more and more to the CS. What if tomorrow they said that in the Golden Saucer you can do Chocobo Racing once a day but could buy a voucher from the CS that let's you race more times?I'm genuinely curious, I got a bahamut minion from purchasing the OST and I don't think it is attainable in the game without purchasing the OST, is the minion then considered a form of micro transaction? since it is content not available to everyone and if so, why don't I see mobs denouncing the act of bundling minions and in game vanity with merchandise?
