Lower framerate affects your input latency, which may result in a DPS loss. I know Twintania was quite annoying when I healed on PS3 because the game would drop my inputs when trying to cycle through the party list quickly to toss out heals.

How does a person having blurry resolution on their end, hold back game on your end?
I play with 7 others, and some of the end game raids are quite busy visually (mob names are huge, some arenas have glows, a lot of them use similar colours, etc) which makes it harder to see things for lower resolutions where it all starts to blend together, even with effects filtered.

You're handicapping your potential output by playing on a PS3, it doesn't matter how great of a player you are, which was the same case for playing XI on a PS2.

Again, all I'm seeing is client side arguments, how is slightly reduced dps, or someone else having an issue reading a mobs name holding back your client? Yes, we've already verified the areas in which PS3 memory affects people playing on that client, but aside from 30+ man content, and more UI features, how is someone else playing on PS3 holding everyone else back?

    The real answer?
    It's not holding anyone back.
It /may/ hold THE PERSON PLAYING THE PS3 BACK, but there is absolutely no way it can hold people back. I play on a PS3 occasionally (READ: OCCASIONALLY.) and I can raid in SCoB | FCoB just fine.

People think that, if you're on a PS3, and when you go into titan EX or any "Hard Raid", you'll be the first one to die. This is incorrect, peeps. It depends on the player and whether if they want to think ahead, for example, "Oh, I'm kinda getting a little bit of FPS lag, so I should probably move before the next move becomes active [I.E: Run before a plume happens.])

This is my experience, and I'm totally open to other's opinions.

    Goddamn character limit.

160 active via Inventory/Mog Case, most of it wasted on gearswaps.

Meanwhile XIV has 100 onhand inventory, and 300 slots for gear via the armoury system.

Congrats, you just lost DPS having to do extra moving earlier as a result of your choice of platform. Now amplify this more on fights that are very tight on DPS checks rather than old content, and the problems with the PS3 become more notable in your performance which in turn affects the people you're running with.

Except that the hardest content in 2.XX was beaten with ilvl110 gear, if high end PC gamers can meet the dps checks for all the turns of final coil in ilvl110, a single PS3 player in ilvl120+ should have no issues keeping up, irregardless of frame rates and loss of uptime.

So you're saying PS3 users having to overgear to do content to a similar efficiency of hardcore PC players is not a real problem?

Never said as such, saying that if high end PC players can meet dps check of encounters that devs themselves said they should of been at least 10 ilvls too low to even achieve, then PS3 players doing content at ilvl the encounters were designed for should be no problem. Keep em coming, I can do this all day.

Add to that, some of those Lucrezia players were on a PS3 themselves, so even then it's not even needed to overgear that much. People put too much faith in iL, DPS and FPS. So long as you know how to play is all that matters. The first people to clear Turn 5 are proof of that.
