But how do we divorce?
Do we need to let the spouse get the house, garden, dog, car, children?
Do we decide it at the attorney's?

Kai, I totally support your suggestions. SE needs to make this happen.
Fully agree, especially on the housing stuff.
Thank you![]()
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

This is already in the works. Its another reason they brought out the different lists for friends so even they can do more in your house.
- If one owns a house the owner should be able to give their spouse permissions to allow them to use the house as if it were their own.
- If there is a summon bell, armorers chest, moving furnishings - this should be allowed to be set up by the spouse.
- Right now if you own a house people can tend your garden but not pull up, let us have permissions to allow our spouse’s to also pull up and plant within the garden.
This is nice but am not sure how much of this we will see. Well exp bonus will have a high chance but not sure of the rest.
- Perhaps an item they can access from Private housing or Inn Rooms that is shared inventory so both can access those items at any time.
- Maybe even make some untradeable items, tradable between spouses… I mean what is his is mine anyway, bwahaha! :3
- When spouses are in the same party leveling up a new class/job they get some type of exp bonus!
- When private airships come out allow spouses to share one
It would not be real since there are already ways to get this. Collector edition came with a head gear that gives 10% exp till level 10 as well did pr-orders, The recruit a friend system gives a head gear with 25% exp boost till level 25! So an exp booster that only works when with your other half would not really create any imbalance that's not already there.
I'd like to see some disadvantages added actually, including:
- 100k Gil removed from bonded characters at the end of every week
- Unable to join any parties without your spouse present
- Weekly tome caps are shared
- All friend invites must be approved by both parties
Everything sounds alright except for sharing of summoning bell and untradeable item. That's just way too much of a perk to begin with and is just asking to be abused. Can you imagine RMT marrying people as a way to transfer items?
We really needed another one of these threads.
