Game has been boring for me and a majority of my guild members for awhile now. It is why turn over has been bad. it is hard to keep people playing FFXIV due to extreme bordom. Most endgame focused guild I talk to are down players this patch. Turn over in XIV is 5-6xs higher then XI and WoW had. And this is purly SE's fault. There simply is not enough to do at endgame to keep someone playing over 10hrs a week happy, especially if they been playing since 1.0 or at 2.0 launch.

I honestly cannot think of a mmo that has less to do at endgame.

The gear/content treadmill does not work when you have 1 raid (if you can even call it that) and 1 primal fight that is relevant every patch. If they want to keep this pure linear style of content. Release 3-4 raids and 5+ primal style fights per patch cycle at the min. And for the love of god make something for guilds to do in this game. Guilds are what endgame in mmos are about.... this game has 0 guild content currently.

Nothing is worse then having to pay $15 a month to run in circles around Uldah or your housing area because that is the most productive thing to do ingame.

I have Second Coil cleaned out, Shiva barely has any incentive to be run, I do FCoB 2-3 times a week. Other than that it's log on, maybe try and hit cap by forcing myself through those 3 God awful dungeons, and then log out. There's nothing cooperative or productive you can do with a group aside from "cooperatively" hitting cap together or attempting the latest progression battles, when I'm not doing that I just loiter around Ul'Dah like most people I know because really nothing more interesting is going on outside the city walls so why even go out there. The only thing I have to look forward to every patch is whatever the 1-2 "end game" instances they throw in like Ramuh or CT/ST (If you can even call those end game...) since inevitably Coil is the only instance SE thinks people who are at the cutting edge of the end-game deserve and everything else in the 6 month period between Coils is just catch-up or casual content.
