Anyone else feel this way?
Anyone else feel this way?
Not on my end, to be honest. I always have things to do. Maybe you should take a break and wait for more content to be released?
Nope. I've been playing for about three months now and I've barely scratched the surface of things there are to do in this game.
Actually yes.
Been playing since Final Fantasy XIV 1.19, and after farming gear in 2.0 coil and primals and dungeons
then 2.2 via Crystal tower, coil, primals, and dungeons
and now farming gear in 2.4 via Crystal Tower, coil, primals, and dungeons i'm pretty spent.
Just watched these 4 videos and these MMO's look more fun.
In these videos the enemies fight back, and seem to have a will to live, they arent just there to die like in ARR. At least that how it seems.
ARR, mobs just die, easily, and give tiny rewards

Fights arent (or dont seem) scripted, have life and variety
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TyBpgEqeuk
Mobs have vast amounts of health, have engaging skills
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uCG5bkprOc
Mobs do special attacks, not indicated, move, and are dangerous

In A Realm Reborn it feels like i'm fighting the community not the enemy. AKA trying to find people who can dodge good etc etc that is harder than the enemy itself.

If you're looking for someone to mope around with, you might find a few.
It's still not boring for me, though I'm starting to find that is takes more time to get a party together for older content, or perhaps that was because I was playing on a DPS role for once...
Other than that, I was sort of burnt out on clearing T1-T8 all in one go this month for the first time. At the end of T8 clear it just made me grumpy rather than cherishing the clear.
Also I've broke out of my roles of playing Healer and Tank. I haven't been a DPS since first month of launch. On top of that, haven't been a melee DPS for 2.0 yet until NIN rolled out.
It reminds myself what other players are capable of doing, and when they susceptible to losing a lot of TP or taking heavy damage.
So, now I know how much of a pain it is to be a melee, oppose to ranged DPS. I've always had them in mind in 1.0 with the positional hits of course, but never had the chance to feel out the pacing in 2.0.
NIN doesn't have much of a positional hits, aside from Trick Attack for it's vulnerability debuff, and a few bonus base damage from Dancing Edge and Sneak Attack. But, DRG required flank hits for heavy thrust buff is sad once I've noticed they've changed it from 1.0.
I've picked back up DoL a bit, and also went back into gardening for crossbreeding the minions. All in all it was a good month.
After finishing my 2nd Novus, the only things I'm going to be logging in for are poetics capping and coil runs until 2.45 when we'll have the next relic grind.
Outside of that, the only things I have left to do are getting my other jobs up to i110 and starting to craft seriously.
I still need to cap NIN, BLM, and WHM. Haven't done T5 yet, let alone maxing all the gear and materia for DOL and DOH. So, it's still a longg way for me to be bored
Right now normal world mobs in WoW die faster in pre-raid gear than in 110 gear in FFXIV and have about 30-50% of your HP.Mobs have vast amounts of health, have engaging skills

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
While in 1.x it felt like getting a reward in 2.x it just feels like never ending grinding where RGN is your worst enemy...
With tokens in 1.x you actually could get what you desire, but in 2.x there is no such thing...
The worst in 2.x is that they stacked RNG, while not only having the luck to drop (dungeons with trash in chest or 4th chest in ST), you also need luck in rolling and luck in beeing "your class" (the one you are seeking for)
Nope i'm still very happy with it
