    MND VS VIT

Any thoughts on how these stats help the miner class?

MND seems to help a lot with the quality and frequency of good items u get from the points , from what i have seen.

VIT seems to help with quarrying and getting some of the rarer items. Also from my limited observation it seems to effect how far the bar goes down when you miss.

Still can't figure it out. Like moon phase, it needs an ask the debs session or statistical analysis. I barely managed to get what output gathering and perception did before the ask the dev session, and even then I was just mostly on target.

VIT provides accuracy and consistancy with the swing bar. Your target location for the mini-game will be more predictable. For things like gold ore, this is critical.
MND increases yield, but since many mining items are hard capped at one, and all items are capped at 3 for main hand, the effect is minimized, compared to botany, or off hand harvesting.

I am sure I remember seeing a post somewhere stating that VIT and MND increases the chance of HQ items

In regards to VIT that is how i always thought of it. But after hitting 50 and ranking up a conj i don't put points into either VIT or MND now. I haven't noticed any difference in HQ, sweet spot, or yield. Sadly I am afraid its going to turn out like all the other stats... meaning yes it has an impact but, its so minor you will never notice.
I hit 50 months ago (1st on Rab^^) and still mine to fund my BSM GSM and my pockets and i still haven't had any noticeable differences in varying my stats. I currently keep my stats set for my Conj during NM hunts. with is 184 INT 120 PIE. I don't bother putting any points into VIT or MND anymore, since it doesn't seem to matter. But I encourage everyone to do their own tests.

I know this thread is a few months old, but to remove this speculation, and for the sake of accuracy, here is a copy/paste from a dex post:
