TCGs are all about balancing its cards so that there is no "Best in Deck" card. Triple Triad, where there are no special abilities that can make weaker cards better than they are or stronger cards more detrimental to have in a deck. It's all about the numbers with Triple Triad. That makes it so every endgame Triple Triad hand is specialized to only have certain cards in it and, from a TCG standpoint, that is unacceptable.

I'm expecting Gold saucer to be able to buy triad packs for gil/whatever new currency is added with the Saucer, with a side option to buy a pack for 2 bucks from mog station. And guess what? I welcome it. Works in Hearthstone perfectly fine.

All the doomsday prophets just need to make good on their threats imo, and just go already, the constant complaints about the cash shop, and the constant 100 threads made about the conjecture about it, the turning every thread that has nothing to do with the cash shop into a thread about the cash shop is just obnoxious and annoying. If having a couple shiny objects that do nothing for the storyline of the game "ruin" it for you, you weren't very invested to begin with, to be honest. The cash shop is here. It's enjoyed by far more than it's been met with disdain, it's not going anywhere. Accept it and either use it, or don't. It's your choice not to, It's others' choice to do so. Grow up.

Meh I'll say the same thing I do in all these cash shop threads, don't talk about it be about it. Too many of you guys complain about things and threaten to leave and never do. In reality I don't care whether you stay or leave, I'm enjoying the game, I haven't bought anything from the cash shop but if something does strike me as a necessity I'll buy it. Most of the stuff in there cost less than two slices of pizza in the city I live in, if you can't afford it maybe you should ask yourself whether you should be playing video games or out looking for a better station in life.

There is a 99% chance, that TT will be a standalone app via the SE Portal APP they have announced. This will then tie in with FFXIV on top of that. So yes, we will have to pay booster packs with real money.

Though no doubt there will be ways to get some rare cards in game (to actually advertise the game even more).

If we have to pay for booster packs, I most likely won't participate in TT at all. If they are lacking other content because of the time they're spending on TT then that will be a problem for me. At the end of the day I'm playing this game because it's cheap entertainment and because I have fun playing it. If it gets to the point where I can't enjoy the experience without spending more money than my sub then I don't see the point anymore.

Only time will tell, I hope they can keep the experience fresh and fun. I'm really hoping that heavensward brings a larger variety of content in general and not just the usual + mini games.

Let hope there is no cash shop for the upcoming Golden Saucer. If SE want to introduce cash shop, better have it on items that has nothing to go with gaming experience, maybe use goodies and stuff, minions and mounts is half ok, but not on enhanced gaming experiences even if it's just a mini game.

players with gamblers addiction + cash shop?.....I think it's pretty much certain Gold Saucer will have cash shop content.

TT will be free on the Portal App that will be made available soon. So, actually, if what they have said, then TT will be free and a standalone and will tie into FFXIV.

So it may have a lot more in common with HS than you think.
