    Playing on PC

    Could I use my ps4 controller?
    If so how would I approach this? Do I need to have a usb connected always or can I go wireless?
    I find it easier to use a controller if I can do it.
    So would I need to download something in order to use a ps4 controller on FFXIV?

    yes you can use a PS4 controller just hook the controller up to a USB slot and restart your game so it can detect the controller and go into your character settings and switch from keyboard/mouse to controller

    I would think so. I use a PS3 controller and I'm fine. You can have a usb cable or buy what I have and go wireless. http://www.amazon.com/Bluetooth-4-0-...adapter+dongle

    Yes you can use PS4 controller and can do wired or wireless and don't need 3rd party software pretty detailed post on reddit just type "ffxiv ps4 controller" in google and it the first result
