If I start having to buy weekly passes to do content then we will talk. Right now I could care less about the optional fluff they keep adding to mog station.

You do that already. Its called your subscription. And its monthly.
(no comment of the boycott.. just found this absolutely funny that you would get upset for a fee to do content when you already pay for it... kinda like the good old "keep the government out of my medicare" cry)
And its still buying a pass to do content. Really are people this dense?
1/2 dozen of 1, 12 of another. Just a payment with a different name.
"keep the government out of my medicare"!!! lol people.
If its FTP with a weekly payment for content of P2P with a monthly subscription you are paying for access and updates (they use your weekly payment for that). It is not a hard concept.

The more money they generate, the better game experience they can provide for all players. There shouldn't be an upper limit on how much money they can make from people who voluntarily pay for optional items. You aren't even locked out of eternal bonding without payment since they provide a free tier also...
I'll continue to support the cash shop so they continue to add to it![]()
Nope. I honestly don't care if someone wants to spend $25 on a pony. It has zero impact on me whatsover - not buying it doesn't hurt my ability to progress in the game, nor does it give them any advantage over me. It gives them a pony to ride around and show off and that's it.
Also, gotta love how not a single person has brought up the fact that paying the extra $20 for the CE gets you a mount and a bunch of other in-game items. So that is okay to do, but having a cash shop isn't?
Well the benefit that SE gets from making the glamour and mount cash only instead of gil that RMT guys won't get any money from eternal bonding. They couldn't make it free for everything because the servers would probably be overloading with the amount of people that want to get married for free glamour and a mount. I'd prefer if they stuck to gil method to combat this but, I can understand that they wanted to line their own pockets instead of the RMT business.
