Q22: Are there any plans to remove restrictions on the glamour system (unable to glamour gear that the job/class cannot equip)?

A22: Unfortunately, there’s a certain image that we would like to sustain for FINAL FANTASY XIV. We feel that it would confuse the new players if they see casters in heavy armor and tanks in mage gear.

We want to know if you're planning on adjusting Glamours so that Different Gear Sets will be able to have Separate Glamours, we already knew the answer to this question above, it was answered when Glamours were released.

We'd like some feedback on this system, we want to make our jobs Unique.

AKA: I want Paladin to look like Paladin and Warrior to look like Warrior...

Yes, this is something that I really want.

I really liked the crafter and gathering "AF", but with the introduction of i70 gear, my crafters and gatherers were forced to drop their unique looks. Same problem with WAR/PLD, WHM/SCH and SMN/BLM.

I didn't even think about this. That's what, 9, 10 classes using the SAME GEAR?

lets not forget the new set for DoH doesn't even look all that great, and currently its a fugly mismatched set with what looks like reading glasses, summer and winter clothes, then the job specific "AF" body piece.... the set itself doesn't even match! lets not even mention the ehcatl smithing gloves.....

If they can just give us a multi glamour slot that would fix the problem like a tank gear share with paldain and warrior that can put both glamour on it so when job swap the glamour will swap in between

Ha;f the questions at the live letters are usually a waste. They are questions that are usually already answered and people can't be bothered looking on the lodestone for or something so obvious from the direction of the game, it answers itself.

Although I reckon some of those questions are hand picked for that reason, to make it seem like they are answering community questions without having to put much effort into thinking of answers when they answered them months ago because yes, this question was answered when the system came out. That's how lazy some people are when it comes to finding the answers themselves.

There were lots of good questions in the thread (at least the English one, didn't read the others), but sadly a lot of the really good ones were not chosen. So I think you might be right about them taking only the easy ones.

However! I'm hoping that they might have been at least inspired by some of them!
