Superstitions? Habits? Quirks? I'm curious what you do

I was just mining and caught myself mentally yell chanting at the screen for HQ items. It didn't help but it felt satisfying the one time that the screen listened to me nonetheless.

This made me laugh at myself, but then stop and consider what everyone does that may be a little bit silly to get what they want, to feel like they have a little more control over the RNG gods when everyone can fail that 99% chance (repeatedly ~_~ ).

I've heard some people will manually put on each piece of gear (instead of just equipping the gearset) in a certain way before doing high level Coil runs they want to clear, or humming a specific song when they really want to HQ high level items.

So, do you have any quirks or superstitions? A lucky piece of gear? A pattern you follow for luck? Just something unique you do? Or do your friends have any interesting ways they do things that they wouldn't mind you anonymously sharing on their behalf?

Does anyone still rotate their mouse in a clockwise/counterclockwise circle to make pages load faster? anyone still have a connection so slow that you can see the page loading?

For melding, I call my partner to spam adlo on me for no reason. For crafting, I pray to an ex-president of my country. For gathering, I just hope for the best and I just close my eyes as I chop wood or mine these minerals.
