They mentioned something about a Datacenter wide Partyfinder. That would be totally awesome, considering small populated servers having trouble to find people for hard content. Of course it isnt easily implemented... but still worth the effort?

I think it would be worth the effort, it would certainly make certain content much easier. especially if you are on a small population world or have friends on multiple worlds in the same data center
They would need to make the blacklists work across data centers as well in this case.
Oooh, shiney...
A global duty finder might be more useful, but I suppose a datacenter-wide party finder can't hurt.
This would be really awesome for being able to do content with friends that are cross server~ I'm all for it!
It's absolutely worth the effort. It'd be a great help to less populated worlds. With that said...
Yup, we'd need this too.
The duty finder used to be global and they divided it up between the server groups we have now because the dungeons would always be at max capacity and you would be waiting forever with a message that said "Readying Instance" even when you're party was full because all the dungeon instances in the server group were constantly being used. Now each server group has less servers in it so that problem has gone away but the result is the duty finder only matches you with a few servers instead of all servers.
Basically the way the duty finder works it can't handle all servers being in the same server group.
Idk, it may have just been an issue at 2.0 launch, unless the system over all just can't handle it.The duty finder used to be global and they divided it up between the server groups we have now because the dungeons would always be at max capacity and you would be waiting forever with a message that said "Readying Instance" even when you're party was full because all the dungeon instances in the server group were constantly being used.
