I'm going to both agree and disagree with you. I believe you could have parse 515-520 on a dummy with your gear if you got lucky with crits. While the i120 Ironworks weapon only has 1 more WD and a little more strength, this dude's Nexus has 46 more crit and 8 more det. So when you add in food buff like risotto the difference in weapons is negligible. Also looking at his gear, he is rocking 489 accuracy which wont cut it in FCoB or even T9... I'd like to see what you parse with coil ready 512 accuracy.

I dont know, I kinda believe him. I know a Dragoon that parsed 480, i110 with a nexus. Light Party buff, no food, no pots, no mercy stroke, 3-4 min parse. He accomplished that when testing stacking skill speed., If I remember correctly he stacked up to 470 skill speed, 110 more than him. But 520 does seem a bit high without a weapon 120+ even with mercy stoke inflation, and parsing while under accuracy cap

Plus, in his case, Skill Speed would be a complication, since he said he managed that in a 8 min parse. No DRG TP survives that much with a high SP, unless someone is providing TP, wich didn't seens to be the case.

Had my friend on monk so I get the str bonus, used one x-potion, 3 or 4 potent poisoning potions and I think i used one Mercy Stroke. I also ate a HQ Black Truffle Risotto.
We get a lot of people claiming to do X amount of dps in X ilvl without some form of evidence. I'm not doubting your 520 parse on your i114 Dragoon with just an i115 weapon. I was just curious how my i120 Dragoon with i130 weapon will do on a dummy. And the results are somewhat surprising that the difference was only a mere 20 dps.

I'm i120 with the i130 weapon too and think I'm being parsed at like 560~ over 3 minutes at a dummy with food+xpots and without poison pots or mercy stroke.

I remember there being a similar reaction when Hak said that Dragoons were the best dps class in second coil.
The numbers Dawes says that he can pull with a Nexus are impressive. I look forward to seeing the forthcoming parse.
