I don't see why people will think NIN will be useless despite lowered DPS they still have raid utility (unless they make goad cross class).
We don't know just how much magic defense DRGs will increase (probably enough to not get install killed)

Because Monks also have raid utility and do the most single-target damage in the game. It's already at a point where "optimal" raid grouping is just bringing two Monks and this could potentially make it even more skewed in that direction. Ninjas and Dragoons should be brought up to the level of Monks, not nerfing anything down.

ITT: Sky is falling, NIN is dead. Rest in peace, Kirito Uchiha.

Stoneskin II ...I'm so happy I could cry. ;_;

NINJA NERF?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Please, say it ain't so...! Have mercy...!
No! No! Gosh, please, no! No! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ohohohohooooooooooooooo. This update sounds better than 2.4! (other than final coil of course)

Because they focus on only one aspect of the game and disregard everything as irrelevant. Here, let me edit your post:
See what their focus is on now?

I am glad that DRG is finally getting the buff they needed. I love playing DRG but it was horrendous playing them sometimes when tanks kept moving around and I kept missing Heavy Trust or Impulse Drive's bonus. Always muttering "Stand still, gosh"
NIN will still most likely be OP and they still have their utilities. If DRG can now do as much damage as MNK, this will now make MNK the weakest DPS jobs since MNK will still be hindered by their positional and they do not have any utility to benefit another job like how DRG benefit BRD. I guess they still have the Dragon Kick INT debuff, which can help in 1 or 2 fights I suppose, not nearly as good but its sometihng. But I guess we'll see.
