I think your request for new hats is fair and should be considered. It does nothing to harm the game. Might make it a bit unbalanced after you start the Eorzean mafia and strike fear into our families but meh, for now I feel safe walking down the street.

As for the cigar, sorry, but I don't see that happening. Too many children play this game and cigars do not need to be glorified in that environment.

What you could do is create a custom emote macro.

(/randomemoteofchoice action) - does the emote without the caption in chat. For instance you can do (/hug action) and that allows you to make the hugging motion without any text appearing.

Then you could (/emote lights his cigar and begins to terrorize the local shopkeepers for "protection" money)

Here is my example

/hug action
/emote happily strangles Shiva.

What you would see:

Isaac Damodred happily strangles Shiva (along with the hugging motion).

Hope that gives you some ideas for the cigar? Not sure if it will but it probably more than SE will be able to help you with.

Put shooting/stabbing/burning people and wildlife to death isn't glorifed?

Also, FFXIV's ESRB Rating already allows for it.
