Returning player in need of advice please

1. The easiest way to level is to complete duties. Low Level Duty Roulette as CNJ should net you a level or two upon completion each day, which will be a huge step towards it. Dungeons also give the fastest EXP in general, and to top it off as a healer you should have fairly short queues. In addition, as a healer, the more practice you have as part of a party, the better - in a lot of cases the group lives and dies based on your performance, because if you can't do your job as a healer while dodging AoEs and die, then nobody gets healed. Low level dungeons are fantastic practice for this.

Past that, you can look for sidequests, but it'd be easier to do Levequests or spam FATEs. For FATEs, the usual locations are Western La Noscea in the 10-20 range, and South Shroud for the m~20-30 range. You can also do Guildhests - the first time you complete them as a specific class you net a nice EXP bonus.

2. As far as sidequests go, don't worry about having exhausted them as Archer; Most of the Gridania-specific quests would be for level 1-15 anyway. There are a similar set of quests in La Noscea and Thanalan, but they're intended for lower-level classes and wouldn't be much help to you if you're already CNJ 16.

4. If you're only levelling your second class this legitimately shouldn't be a problem yet. Either way, to be honest, one thing you'll learn is how redundant a lot of your gear is. There isn't a whole lot of need to keep around a full set of level 1-32 DoW-specific gear, old weapons, etc. ; see if you can Convert some of it into Materia (you probably can, and Materia can fetch decent cash on the market), or sell a lot of the excess. If you've got pieces you really want for cosmetic purposes later keep 'em, but yeah.
