    Locked out of account

    I'm posting this on behalf of my boyfriends account, he's been locked out of his square enix account for suspicious activity, but it was only him logging on from a different computer.

    The email registered to his square enix account, a hotmail account, is lost and he cannot recover it. It's asking him to unlock the account by resetting his password through an email sent but since the email is lost he cannot do this.

    I've sent an email contact support and also tried calling square enix all day today just to be on hold and disconnected around the 2 hour mark.

    Any help i can get? We really wanna start playing together again. Is all I have to wait for an email ticket i sent and keep being put on hold ALL day to get disconnected ?

    the only thing you can do is what you have done, you email them, they email you back you give them all the info they want (I hope you kept track of all this info) But they should be able to swap the email after all this, itll take a while, They are VERY slow in emailing back

    Yeah. I have all the info, security questions, physical disc version of the game with serial key/code thing.

    SO I guess I just have to do the wait game. Thanks for the info.

    Order a security token or install the software token, so in the future you won't have to change the password to play on a different pc/ip range.

    NA account? You won't be able to reach them not until next week Monday, don't waste money calling them.

    In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, live support via the North American SQUARE ENIX Support Center will be closed on November 27, 2014 and November 28, 2014.

    Live support via the SQUARE ENIX Support Center will resume at 9:00 (PST) on December 1, 2014.

    FINAL FANTASY XI and FINAL FANTASY XIV GM support will continue to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

    If I can ever get my account access back then I will :/ They at least replied to my email ticket and said they'd reply back in 2 days and it's been 2 days now.

    I HAD NO IDEA they were closed on two days... I wasted my time being put on hold for the whole day. Why didn't they just close the hotlines ?
    And I don't wast eany money calling as I use a cell phone and have unlimited long distance calling in the states.

    I had this issue with my Final Fantasy XI account a couple of weeks ago, I forgot my password and my email address for that account was no longer in use. SE have an online chat system that I used, they asked me to scan a copy of photo ID to prove who I was and they gave me a ticket number to email my photo IDA with. Within an hour they sent me an email resetting my email address to my desired new one and I was able to reset my password. I suggest you try this as well.
