[Feature Suggestion] "Glamour Catalog"

Hello,
I don't believe I'm first one to suggest this feature, but I haven't seen much of mention around or during the letters.

Basically, "Glamour Catalog" is a collection of the gears' glamour of acquired geared that no longer has any use for the player other than the glamours images. Additionally, when the player decides that they want to save the glamour of an equipment, they would have to "destroy" the item in order to gain the image of an item.

By implementing such feature, the players would be able to retrieve the glamour of old items at any time without the needs to go through certain dungeons, probably multiple times, to gain such items if they decided they would like to use its glamour later in the future.

Also, such feature would beneficial to game in general as it would increase the population of players that would go through older or lower contents to collect the glamour of various items for their catalogs, especially, when the level/iLevel cap is increased in the future.

Additional feature along with the catalog, is to have a "dressing room" or "Tailor" where the players would be able to check the appearance of combined items collected in the their catalogs.

That would a really nice way to do glamors. Its interesting about having to destroy the item to add it to your collection since that means you can no longer give said item to your retainers when your done with it, meaning you may want to grab multiple copies of the item.

I'm not sure that destroying the item is actually needed as long as the item is still bound to you, but I absolutely want a feature like this. I have 2 retainers that I use just to hold gear for glamours and they are nearly filled to bursting.

I also think the idea of a dressing room is great. We need to 1) be able to select several different pieces of gear and not just the 1 we are currently looking at and 2) be able to see what pieces will look like when dyed a different color than they currently are.

We do desperately need some form of Glamour Library/Catalog. There is nowhere near enough armory/retainer space to hold all the pieces of gear I'd like to use as glamours, so I'm forced to get by with only the pieces that "must" have.

However I'd like a bit of a middle ground on how gear gets added, destroying item seems a bit extreme, especially for some rarer pieces, but binding seems too easy. So maybe gear has to be 100% spirit bonded before it gets added?

Ive said it many times since the game is out ( and even during beta phases ) that all i want is a glamour system a la DCUO.

Ive been used to change my look on the fly whenever i wanted to for "free" in DCUO, so imagine the frustration when i started playing FFXIV or when the glamour system's been released.

Anyway, since we already have a glamour system, we would still need to use catalysts but as long as you equip a piece of gear at least once, it should be added to an "Armor log" , "Glamour catalog" or whatever name fits the best. And then you could get rid of said piece of gear and still be able to use its look whenever you want to.

Hopefully the announced Armor/Weapons guide works like that. My four retainers are choking in all the glamour-only armor I'm keeping on them.

Could you please show me where did they announced it? I've tried to look in previous letters and live letters but I've never found a mention about it.
