Thanks for the info Kaishen!If you're not using an SSD, one of the problems on PS3 is that it'll be slow to load in custom AoE indicators and attacks, as the game engine doesn't pre-load any of it due to RAM considerations.
When I used to do Titan Ex on PS3, I used Titan's cast bar as a more reliable indicator as to whether I avoided an AoE on time rather than what the AoE effects showed. Memorizing the rotation and getting ready to move helps also.
It's also one of the reason why T5 had one of the divebomb safe spots nicknamed the PS3 pit.
I did both Titan EX and T5 on ps3 as well. But not before I wired it straight into the router.
Especially Titan EX is so unforgiving with the lockout. Even when I knew the rotation by heart it still caught me off guard from time to time.
Like said by others, it also helps when you filter out certain fx to save cpu and to make important stuff load faster on your screen.
i.e. Just initials instead of full names, no specials animations except your own, shadows etc...
