They fixed that for fisher, as soon as you throw your rod in the water you can't be hit by anything if you didn't aggro it yourself
Did they not add that to MIN and BOT? >.> you see me confused because i thought they did ^^"

Sucks to hear that the issue isn't fully fixed, but I had a feeling that it wouldn't be due to various other quirks with the battle system (for instance, such as how you can pop Hallowed Ground, still end up dying, and still lose your cooldown)
Because it's the official forums, duh. The status quo will ALWAYS get defended.I cannot believe what I'm reading here. Why is it so important to oppose change to an issue that cannot be avoided.
They say one of the most dangerous statements is "we've always done it this way" but here, it's like a mantra.
Maybe they just accidentally made a mistake? It might not be griefing. Please put an end to this. This exists for literally no reason other than to allow players an easy way to grief one another, whether intentionally or not, and it's not like gatherers have a free choice of where to gather like crafters do with their crafting.
Tbh, an argument could potentially be made for not allowing AoEs to hit any players who do not have any sort of aggro on the enemy using the AoE, but at the very least this should be applied to DoLs in gathering mode, who have no ability to move and can even lose out on unspoiled nodes or mooched fish this way.
