I agree with you on everything except number four. There are seldom occasions where I halone out of combo to pick up a single add. Usually when I don't have charged savage blade because the boss flew up somewhere. The situation is really rare but it happens once in awhile. Mostly used it on turn 9 when initially picking up golems so that way I could save my provoke for another golem. Most importantly though, paladin is boring enough as it is. If you made the combo one button, so many more paladins would fall asleep at the wheel. Also the 1-2-3 combo only really works for paladins and dragoons. Some of the other classes have alternate combo paths to choose from. Particularly monks, ninjas, and warriors. Oh and I forgot riot blade which the poster under me mentioned.
