Running Sastasha HM with min geared ppl

Now I know that everyone starts out not so geared when they first hit 50 and this is in no way a rant about new ppl just getting 50 and meeting the min requirement to get into DF for SAS HM but had an intresting time last night healing a new tank that was min geared and I felt bad for the guy because he was doing his job as well as can be expected from a tank but the shear fact that the bosses in that dungeon hit hard made things very challenging. We got thru it but after it I wonder why the HM and for that matter all of the lvl 50 dungeons are not scaled better by ilvl entry requirements. In stead of lvl sync why not just bump the entry requirement a bit for certain dungeons. Yes ok allowing everyone to have access to every dungeon is the point. Great fine, but it's alot more difficult to get a run in and completed with a min geared Pty member especially the tank.

Just personally think SAS HM min requirement is a bit low

Short answer : no.

Long answer :
dungeons requirements are set at the minimum doable without 3rd party help. I.e., if you have a full set of i80 items (I don't even know if i80 accessories exist. If not, put hal 90 and half 70), you will barely be able to go through the dps checks. You can't expect to clear the dungeons with randoms at minimum gear level.

Usually, ilvl +5 or +10 is a good measurement of what is needed for a smooth run. Except WP and AK maybe, as they are entry level (AK used to require around i55 back in time with the bees but not anymore. Straight in i45/50 and here you go)
