<-- Presentations first -->
Good afternoon to everyone, nooby here.
I'd just want to make a thread for this since, unlike some other graphical issues (The butt ones for example) I think these ones have easier solution and are kind of more practical and easy to solve, just because... Logic...
<-- Barefoot and bare hands -->
I think it is time to give the characters a real option to be barefoot in game, that's especially the most odd graphical feature I have seen in the game and since I started, it's something weird that you notice since your first day "Hey, why those generic ugly sandals?"... Also, it is a little, pardon, weird...
When you remove your gloves or anything your hands are bare, without any odd additions, when you remove rings and bracelets too. When you remove footwear... Oh! You have more footwear only that uglier!....
<-- The plea and the glamours -->
Since you added "New Emperor's" items for glamouring with accesories (In my opinion, an awesome, AWESOME I say, feature that allowe me to finally exterminate the necklaces or rings that didn't fit some of my glamoured gears) it'd be good if you could please give us that option to gloves, thus, allowing us to have bare hands, regardless of the gear we use, without having to use the most similar stuff to it (wristguards, handcuffs, ringbands...). And also add some similar item or option to non display shoes. [In my opinion, it'd be good a checkbox for showing what you want to display or not in some parts of the gear, seriously, rather than complicating it with glamour prisms].
But, for Hydaelin's love, change that default 'barefoot' option, because even if you add an item or whatsoever for allowing our characters to don't show the footwear, they'll still having those annoying sandals.
Now that we are at it, other interesting invisible glamours that I have seen in some posts should also gain force in one unique thread, I'm speaking of the Invisible Monk Weapon what would make the class very cool and it is not really so odd looking or weird at all since they are martial artists. (They day we'll see a MNK hitting enemies with ther bare hands and feet....) Aside with the already mentioned option for the gloves.
<-- Why to give them more priority than other graphical issues -->
-> First of all because the easy it would be to add, unlike the drama with the butts and other stuffs like that, you won't need to adapt and remake models and prepare yourself for clipping issues and be working months in it just for small minor changes and dealing with possible clip-bug-errors
-> Some people mentioned something about customization sending too many information packs and bla bla... Information is... Already there? I doubt that'd be an issue since you already have bare hands models in game for example, just give the option to use it with your gear. As for barefoot, I want to believe you don't only have a model already or few but, it will also be less complicated than just using weird sandals.
-> Because it has sense. (Okay, this is a final fantasy game, I know you'll say it, and our fantasy sandals are fabulous too!). But, okay, I'm speaking of sense, yay, I mean... Even this has its limits... People is suggesting out there to GLAMOUR SHIELDS of the PLD class... So they'd use invisible shield lob, block with the air, use some air wave to stun enemies... And such... Or the always-funny-troll out there "I wanna invisible glamour my bow". These graphical fixes-QoL stuff won't make such a trouble in that matter (And, in the case of barefoot and weird sandals, all the opposite, it will make a change from senseless to fine.)
<---- Small conclusion, the idea, the shortened message for lazy readers ---->
" Hands and feet options should be just like head options are right now. "
Easily able to (Thanks Hydaelin) show or hide whenever you want, you can even use commands like /visor. The fact of saving headset options in the gears of the gearlist was also a great improvement. It'd be nice if we would have the option to hide-show hands-feet gear, if not the same way we do with the head, at least some alternative fix. It doesn't matter how many cool designs you may do, some people just doesn't like at all most of head-glove-feet gear or thinks it doesn't fit their characters. (With my lala I used to only wear the main chest pieces, for example, the rest was all cheapy glamours such as wristguards for showing hands, or hard leather sandals...)
Note: I'm not English native speaker, my writing is awful and even more when I write fast trying to quickly express my thinkings into text, please be easy at me.
