    Question regarding T10

Once again, I'm gonna need a little help on this one. My group will attempt it later this week. But something tells me that we may not able to meet the dps check.

This is my current group setup:

PLD WAR MNK/NIN SMN BLM BRD WHM SCH

Only the MNK and BLM has i115 weapon, and we all have atleast 1 i120 piece.

I was told you need 1950 DPS as a group to be able to not hit the 10:30 enrage, so this probably means I need to make sure my DPS is hitting at a minimum of 400 and tanks at 150 - 200. So the question is, how do you guys manage to meet upkeep the high DPS?

You will need to go in and experience the fight, especially the adds phase, so that your 2 casters knows how to optimize their output and finish the 2 adds phase asap.

Also, provided that they don't do crap DPS by default though.

Aside from upgrading their gear, your dps will just have to practice on dummies until they get better.

What would the average DPS you would say for someone with mostly i110 gear? Just so I can compare with my group

I can't speak for other classes, but on MNK I was putting out 470 with full i110. I'm i113 now and putting out 480.

Edit: I should clarify that those numbers are on a dummy. Numbers are different during battles because you have to learn to deal with mechanics, and how to maximize your dps during a specific fight. Practice should teach your dps where they can squeeze in just a little bit extra, and when to properly use their cooldowns.

    You actually need around 2050.

I thought it was less since there's going to be 1 caster LB for 2nd set of adds and 1 melee LB. Or am I wrong?

SMN will need to put in a bit of work with managing MP, managing DoTs on the adds, etc. but everyone else should be fine at that gear level. Just don't expect a one shot or to beat it day one. Practice makes perfect.

Things we did at first to increase our DPS, since we started doing this since week 1 after the patch went live.

1- SCH does his DPS rotation when there're no adds or a lot of damage incoming.
2- Paladin (me) switches to Sword Oath after tank swaps (Except for charges). I personally switch to Sword Oath when one of my adds is dead, I can burn DPS the second one with the other guys. The son doesn't deal that much damage.
3- Warrior deactivates defiance ONLY when he gets one add, like me. We both DPS the boss until we see him casting his raid-wide AoE damage. Then we switch to Shield Oath and turn on Defiance.
4- DPS in general use stat potions and poison pots.
    5- Tanks are wearing penta-melded vit+str+det accesories.
6- Fight related: Our caster LB3s the second set of adds. We use melee LB3 when it pop's and then single lvl 1 LB if it comes up before the battle ends.

Now we have 2 ilvl 130 weapons and 1 ilvl 120 weapon. We out DPS these fights, but at first, you gotta use every resource you have.

#1 is very imporant. It was SCH dps that pushed us over the edge to get our first clear.

#3 I will go even farther as to say never tank swap unless mandatory. WAR spec strength, toggle Defiance for only adds and Wild Charge, OT the whole time, and Holmgang the charge. The occasional swap might be mandatory cuz of rng but otherwise war can be free to dps their heart out.

I'm pretty sure it is 1950, assuming perfect conditions (no deaths, mechanics handled perfectly).
