We've been so patient since launch.

IMO, we won't see that until at least 3.0. As with the way things were changed from 1.0 to 2.0 ARR, I see 3.0 Heavensward to be a good time to change things around from their current model.

The problem with this is that then we will be able to summon chocobos in dungeon as they are treated like summoner/scholar's pet xD

Agreed. Chocobo counting as a party member is the reason why they spam Medica instead of Cure when it's just you and Choco. That makes it really annoying. I hope they fix both this issue and the duty finder soon enough.

They probably would have announced it if they were going to put it in 2.45.

It's not happening in 2.45.

It won't happen in 2.45. It probably won't happen in 2.5. You're just going to have to wait.
