Introduce New Loot System to protect players!

I am a player who spend a least 6hours a day trying to make a progress, I barely, rarely ever win the loot, it could take me a full week to win one item (No joke, it's my luck over +400 runs for primal ponies and got Zero on my hands). Two days ago, I joined Turn 7 farm party (name your item and greed on it). I joined as SCH asking for blm items, the blm who is in the same party asked for different class item. After the blm item drop, that blm "Needed" on the item, got it and left! I was sad to see this happen, I reported it as cheating and not following the rules. However, the same thing happened again on the same day at night with another group! I was very frustrated. Both party leaders chose only to kick those people out and blacklist them only.

Make the party leader have an option to make his/her party as need for different classes. Each player has to choose which class drops they want, based on that they will have "NEED" option regarding if its their class or not.

Did the blm explicitly state that he wasnt going to roll on blm loots as well as greeding on the class he wanted?

Best way to avoid this is if you want blm gear, run as a blm for DF/pugs, or even better, run it with people you know and can rely on to be helpful. .

Althoug the suggestion of party leader being abke to assign classes to need on items, i can see this getting abused to hell by some people.

I understand what are you saying and I do appreciate your respond, I have played as blm today and joined Turn 7 and did 8 runs as blm, none blm items drop. Before 4 hours ago today, I joined Turn 7 again as SCH since they had enough ranged. We had one caster (SMN) who is named "Neon Radiation" on Gilgamesh server. I checked him up before we start, and saw he has caster mask. I asked the party if I could have the mask since it would be greed and that I have been going for it for days. On the same run the caster mask drop, all party members except that player left, he chose to drop his mask and "Need" on it so I don't get it, he said I should play its class if I want it... I was shocked, sad, depressed and I could not understand why would someone be this evil. I know GM wouldnt do anything so I went to speak with his FC leader to inform her about the incident and to speak to him. She informed me the same incidents happened before and she had to kick them out.

People who are in static parties wont be affected, but I don't have static, I always have random people who are not fair, I just hope SE will implement a new fair loot system which is completely optional to protect people's right. I play for long hours sometimes, 8 hours no joke, but I dont get the drops that I want to, I started to give up on loot system, I did runs farming for ponies, over 400 run and 0 drops, only new players or those who get carry over get the loot. I am just really sad/

I would maybe edit your post and take the name out. However it just sounds like someone being an idiot. As frustrating as it can be, the issue here is with the person really, and not the loot system. It can take far more than 8 runs to see the drop you want on on the class you are playing, best thing to do is keep running as that class until you get the drop.

This probably would be my last comment on this thread, I am sure I made my point clear regarding loot system and ponies. Today, I decided to go back and do pony farm again (Never gave up, just wanted to get at least one pony) I did Garuda 12 times, no drops (In fact I never seen her pony ever dropped or Ifrit's, Titan 6 times, no drops, Shiva 14 times, no drops, then I tried Ramuh and there we go, as usual I carry new people over, they get the achievement and pony as reward then they disband.
