I am leaving this feed back for Yoshi and his team.
Seeing how content is easy and face rolled other than coil and seeing how you like to nerf content which dosent really serve any purpose other than to destroy the game, I take my money else where as so many others have done.
Challenge should come from all content not just coil it should be in the open world it should teach players their jobs not be face rolled or nerf so soon. The game should be about the journey and not being at the top in a short amount of time.
Dungeons should not all be instanced as they are, the open world needs to have threats to all levels not just low level players. The duty finder is a joke it promotes bad behavior because players most likely wont see each other again. You added penalties to combat some behavior but it dosent solve all the bad behavior that we see. Remove the duty finder no more cross server play, let the players police the community on each server. If players had to play with each other on their server the bad behavior would pretty much disappear as it would affect their reputation on said server.
Stop with the verticale progress and add some horizontal progress let the players have freedom in their character builds. XIV could be so much more just drop the theme park and make it a sand box. Yoshi you had the chance to make 2.0 into something that could have stood out but you have taken the safe route because you and your company are afraid, but in doing so (imo) you have done more damage than good. SE normally provides quality games but in the last few years the quality has been lacking. If you want players to play your games than make content that is lasting making it provide a challenge, add long term goals as well as short term goals and dont nerf content that is 1-2 years old. Content should be nerfed after a few years not every major patch as this takes away from the game.
In closing: Yoshi at the end of 1.0 patch 1.23 you had the game going in the proper direction it wasnt easy and players had to put effort into the primals (everything not just primals) their was danger their was challenge the story was much better than 2.0's story as well). The combat system yes needed some work but it was going in the right direction. You had your chance to do something great but instead you decided to go the easy route with 2.0. That is so sad that you decided to do that, because you gave 1.0 players hope that 1.0 would become the game that stood out. You gave players a mediocre game in 2.0. instead of a game that stood out. SE use to be the best of the best when it came to games but it seems you and your company has lost its way.
