Players from another worlds - why?

I use DF 3-5 times/day and found out that sometimes I meet some strange situation. Sometimes I join parties where players are different from ordinary game flow. They newer call me by my game name only by job and tries to teach brd 108 how to play... In the exp roulette for example 8). I tried to blacklist them but each time I don't see them in my list - when I try to to find these players, I find out that they are from another world in the same data center. As usual there are 2 or more of such players. I play in two worlds - EU and U.S. and situation with these parties is similar. It's not very often and I have no problems with normal players from the same world, and haven't ever heard that I do my job bad from players I know and with who I run w/o DF.

Who are these people and how they happens? And why they are from another world each time?

Duty finder connects people from different servers within the data center. It's supposed to work that way. Blacklisting a player from another sever doesn't work because you can't interact with a player that is not in your server outside of the duty finder.

Did you just find out until now? ... ... ... This system has been developed a long long time ago from some MMOs.

As you said, it's highly unlikely that players from different world meet again. So if we have a problem with one of them, you don't have to worry about blacklisting. But let's think the other way around, what if some players were great and you need to stay in touch at some point or even offer to change worlds to join fc, lodestone can't do it and the clients message center cant do it either. That should be considered too to expand networking, dont you think?

Not always, sometimes you are grouped with people on the same server.

Because Duty Finder is a world queue server, if it is not world wide servers, you're going to have to wait 4 hrs for a dungeon run. I bet you don't want that.

Servers are grouped together in bunches called datacenters. There are currently 6 of them: Aether, Chaos, Elemental, Gaia, Mana and Primal. When you queue solo or in an incomplete party in Duty Finder you are paired with other players in your datacenter (not server) queuing for the same duty. As you are on Phoenix, which is part of the Chaos Datacenter, you will be paired with players from Cerberus, Lich, Moogle, Odin, Ragnarok, Shiva, and Zodiark in addition to Phoenix players.

As for why they were rude? Different servers have different cultures and player attitudes. Yesterday I was paired with a Blackmage from Balmung(one of the unoffical RP servers) for T7. He had macroed messages to every single one of his actions making him spam party chat with what amounted to announcements that he was casting Fire.

This is the question the OP is actually asking, and this is a good portion of the answer.

It's also feasible that they've checked to see if you're from their server and, if not, decide it's not a big deal to be a bit more rude. I have a hard time believing that, personally, but it's a possibility.

It's also just dumb luck and confirmation bias.
