In and of itself? I don't think so. However, if you are drawing too much power, fans might be slowing down. Or, if you have an active power system (which is turned on by default in Windows 7), then as temperature increases, fan speed increases, drawing more power (possibly overloading the PSU). The hotter temp could simply be that the airflow in that computer isn't as good as the old one.

This is a known bug for many, it has happened on two of my computers (to often) and a few of my friends. Odd they havent fixed it yet, as it is from beta. Best tip I can give: If it goes black, wait at least 15-30 min till next time you start playing, else the bug will occur more often. (It havent happened on my new computer yet though )

The CPU fan does go up to 4900RPM

    Full load
    CPU CORE 1.287v
    +3.3v 3.520v
    +5v 5.160v
    +12v 11.035v
    +5v standby 5.261v

    Doing noting
    CPU core 1.287v
    +3.3v 3.664v
    +5v 5.160v
    +12v 11.088v
    +5v stand by 5.261v

So it does not seem like it going up by much the video card fan does go up but that was the same speed in the old case.

Can the PSU make the system shut down like the fan stop working no display but the light on the computer case still on?

The last thing i have to try is putting on my PSU on my computer case which is a 550W psu and give more power running a 450gt without issue.

@Medura it's not that bug because it happen while playing WoW tho the video card never went more then 70-75C i try out wow seeing how that the only game i can try out on this PC atm.

The 12V rail seems to be way out of spec on that power supply, which would explain why you see a shutdown when you put any stress on the system.

Exchanging the motherboard but keeping the HDD with system intact is not advisable, and if you do, you should run a repair option to get the correct drivers installed.

Also, clean out any old graphics related drivers and reinstall the newest driverset.

It seem i found out what was wrong One of the pin for the PSU for the 20pin it's burn like a smokey yellow color and even have a small dot burn hole not very deep but it's there.

Pretty much this is how it look

    http://www.goeaston.net/~bowsertb/pics/Burned-ATX.JPG

Tho mine is clear plastic so it not that yellow but still

Which just happen to be the +12v pin which is burn i guess i found out what it was. I was trying out my psu on the computer play ffxiv for 30min no issue when i went back to plug in the psu to my system to see if it would shut down when seeing the 20pin i found out the +12v pin was burn i guess i'll have to buy a new PSU it was a cheap one that came with the computer case so i knew it was going to die within 1-6month. i guess it only last about 1 and half months lol.

@Loth: Thank you it seem your right +12v pin was off due to it being burn.
