It's just very counter intuitive how they are designing the crafting content. It's just gil sink after gil sink. RNG is an engrossing mechanic said nobody ever.

Even the way the cross-class is implemented just doesn't feel like the right direction. You have all these class-specific skills that feel like they give each crafter their own strategy that they should be going for, but then you hit max level and realize that you are just cross-classing skills from all the classes and losing any identity that your DoH class had to begin with. This design makes about as much sense as letting a Monk cross-class all the Dragoon Jumps.

The new Artisan Gear convinces me this is the direction they are going as now you don't even need to meld class specific gear. Just meld one set of gear and you are good to go. Why even have different DoH classes at this point. Just have the Crafter and give us all the recipes in one class.
