Lol yeah the daggers were interesting, for sure. The paddles are kinda weird though but at least you can say tank and spank properly with them lol

Also check the Grand Company gear for that hat, I coulda sworn I saw one in game that wasn't dated but maybe I'm wrong on that
you are right, there is no beret w/o feather, here is the link, you cannot get weathered beret, the (D) are dated items include the weathered berest
It's subtle things like the black trim instead of the bright white in your face look on that that make me love the dated gear more every time I see them lol. Like that its sleeveles, and the one I have has copper chain, ail sleeves. Same item yet completely unique![]()
I actually liked the early 1.0 crafting. Making each individual buckle, clasp and strap. It helped foster an economy. Back when getting several DoHs to 50 was a very rare thing (try getting a max of 50 exp/synth at 49) you would have to buy those buckles from a goldsmith if you wanted to make that plate mail as an armourer.
Back on topic, I'm happy with them not being in Version 2. Mostly because I have a few sets that I use for glamour purposes and I like being a special snowflake (though on Balmung I'm far from the only one).
Yeah I (to an extent) loved the crafting system of 1.0
It's just annoying when you want to make an entire new gear set ...in less than 20 minutes lol!
I wish they would implement some sort of "artisan's craft book" or something similar to where you COULD go into making each piece and choose whichever skin you wanted at will, along with the coloring of each part. That would be absolutely awesome
For example say you have a toadskin harness. And you don't exactly want to dye it as much as you want to change the skin texture of the toad leather straps on it. Just use that craft book, create it as normal but it gives the option to choose ANY skin you have in your inventory (like how on vintage gear you an choose which item to add to the recipe. So the. You can choose say marmot skin, dodoskin or whichever you want. Then once its made you can still dye it but it has a better texture.
I want half masks (these were only available in 1.0)
