You can have baby face, baby face, baby face or "I took an iron to the face, face".

I think this game's character customisation is poor and problematic. Very few options and most of them are badly designed or boring. I hope SE reconsiders on this matter and release a real face and body customisation patch. And not just 1 new bad looking hairstyle but a pack of serious and numerous options including faces, eyes, noses, mouths, bodies etc. Sucks to have 2.5 million players who look like the attack of the clones.

The reason for having so few options is to cut-down on packets.

The less character data, the less packet information is required to be transmitted.

"Head 1"
"Nose 2"
"Mouth 4"

Is easier to send than percentages for;

5 mouth factors
4 nose factors
7 eye area factprs
(etc)



What are packets?

The packets of information being sent You > Server > You.

The more information you cram into these the longer it takes to transmit the packet.

Cutting down on the amount of information required in these helps reduce latency, so the more finite character details will simply bloat it un-nessecarily.


Packets contain your;

Name, Gear, FC Details, Current Titles, Character Apperance Details, Position, Cast-Bar, HP/TP/MP, Actions&Traits etc.

Hands, wide open legs like if they met a group of "friends" in a dark alley, that ridiculous /sit, inability to remove those stupid marks under the eyes, there's something about the jaw/lower face that makes it seem like they're always slightly looking down or facing down... why can't they be sexy like fem miqo'tes.

I personally like the eye markings, and how they look in general. To each their own. I think roes are ugly, no reason for me to try to start a movement against them.
