Aesthetician: Skin and Eye Colour Modification

I've been hoping to see this implemented for quite a while now and sad to see it hasn't.

I think it may not be something that's difficult to incorporate technically into the current aesthetician system, while magical spray tans/tanning beds and contact lenses would work as reasons to explain how the modification takes place. (Though I'm not sure how reverse tanning would work, haha.)

I can fully understand spending however much money in purchasing a vial of Phantasia to modify the basic structure of your character. However, I personally can't justify having to spend said real life currency in order to adjust something as simple as colour.

I hope if there are any of you reading that agree, that you please support this, so we may get some sort of official response!

This is semantics. Your skin color in a video game is a permanent thing...a tan feature that occurs wouldn't be permanent and you'd be going back to the aesthetician every few hours to get back that golden skin tone. But that's not what people are asking for. They are asking to change their skin color for free. Contacts is another way to say changing your eye color. This is a character feature and is permanent. Like it or not, the basic structure of your character does include eye color and skin color.

I remember a Dev. post a long time ago saying eye color would be changeable through the Aesthetician. I hope they stick to their word and implement this. I would love to be able to change my skin color too without having to buy a Fantasia.

I doubt they will as this would also undermine some of the function of fantasia's.

Changing your race or gender is a complete do-over, so it makes sense to milk the wallets for that, since its such a radical change over. But to change your eye & skin color? Come on, no need to charge for that. Pure greed. Those should be added to Aesthetician, plain and simple.

The main issue is changing skin color using an aesthetician has feasibility problems: What sense does it make to go from pale skin to BLUE with just a few beauty treatments.
Basically, it's the Duskwight elves, Roegadyn, and Keeper Miqo'te that keeps it from making sense.
Also, because yes they want money. But this isn't something you gotta pay for or you never get it, you DO get a free fantasia. If you want to change it again, you gotta pay. I personally think this is quite fair.
Plus, uh, be patient...I get the feeling that because of a certain thing coming for Heavensward, we'll be getting another free fantasia.

There is no way SE will give any more options for free when they can charge you for it. Just like how they removed old event items to put them in the cash shop. Also, notice how there is a seperate item to change names instead of just adding that ability to the regular fantasia. Now if you want to change name/race, you'll need to pony up the cash for 2 items.

If anything, its a miracle that they didn't add new faces and other options to the character creator so we would buy fantasias for them.
