We Really Need a Glamour Library

SE, please change the glamour system so that we don't have to hold on to gear for later glamours. Maybe keep track of it in a glamour library, something we can open up like our minion/mount guides now. I'm fine with having to get the gear, even have it get spiritbond so we can't sell/trade it, but I think it's too much to have to get it multiple times or hold onto it forever. It really is a big deal to players that like to change their looks a lot or have a different vanity set for each job.

    Thanks.

Edit: I also would like to add that I think collecting pieces to add to vanity collections would be fun and would encourage redoing old content. I'd never collect a ton of gear for vanity if I have to store it somewhere though.

Absolutely love the idea! I would be for this idea even if you had to "learn" the piece of gear like you do for minions/mounts, making it unwearable for stat purposes.

The idea I had for this was a "<insert craft here> Glamour Masterprism". Essentially, a heavily refined Glamour Prism that can permanently store glamours within itself and apply those glamours to everything without being expended.

Could be a five-star craft that costs a few hundred thousand to make and could sell for a few million on the Market Boards (the price would naturally decline with the market as the resources to make them become more and more readily available). Could be made by every Crafting class except Culinarian.

...and the masterprism contents could be viewable in a kind of collection log a la minion/mount logs.

Trove has something like you're talking about. You throw an item into a special crafting bench, it destroys the item and the item is added to a collection that you can then choose from for vanity.

I wish the glamour and file inventory system for gear sets worked with not only what is available in our armory but in our retainer storage as well. With those of us with many War, Magic and Crafting roles leveled the current system is really very limiting.
